    Official History of Australia in the War of 1914-1918,
    Edited by C. E. W. Bean. This 12 volume set was published between 1920 and 1942. Of particular interest is Volume III—The Australian Imperial Force in France, 1916. The 12th Edition was published by Angus & Robertson, Sydney, 1941 and like other subtitles in the series, is reproduced on the Australian War Memorial website.
